My WoW druid guide should get you headed in the right direction when you are getting started playing as a druid.

The shape shifting hybrid class in World of Warcraft is the Druid, and this class is one of the most versatile and customizable in the game. Druids of every Spec can find a role for themselves at the end-game whether it's Raiding or PvP.

If you have ever played World of Warcraft before you know that each class, including Druids, are split into three talent trees. Each of the druid talent trees can offer different things.

For druids to become a great spell damage dealer, they can opt for the balance tree which focuses on improving spell damage. Healing Spells, that are crucial to any good healer, will be modified by some Balance talents. There are others that help you when in feral forms.

Focusing on the shape shifting forms of Cat, Bear, and Dire bear, the Feral Combat Tree focuses each of these in turn on either tanking, for bear and Dire bear, or on melee DPS, for cat form. Learning the right time to change forms is very important. Some Feral Combat talents will modify your maximum Mana which you would need large amounts of if specializing in the Moonkin form.

The druid is very good at healing, and the Restoration tree focuses on healing spells. Especially important is the Tree of Life form, that druids learn by investing in this talent tree. Some of the Restoration talents, such as Furor, will allow the druid to use Rage while in the Cat and Bear forms. The Natural Shape Shifter talent decreases the mana cost required for shape shifting by 30%.

Playing as a druid can have some drawbacks however. Because druids can do so many things it can be hard to focus on one strategy. Since different forms need different gear, much more equipment needs to be carried than other classes usually need.

Age of Conan has maybe the most amazing and realistic fighting system, quite different from all the other MMO games. To participate in any battle in Hyboria, any player must be prepared to shed some blood or tear some limbs, because here, mercy is for the weak. But no matter what class you choose to play, a fierce Barbarian or a wise Tempest of Set with the power of the elements, your first powerful enemy stands for the 80 levels towards the end game content. To burn these levels faster, my resort was an AoC Leveling Guide.

The one I've been using, not only that helped me get to the peak of the game way faster than my guildies, it also helped me to get the maximum power of my character. I will share here, a few tips and tricks I've learnt from this AoC Leveling Guide, that made my leveling go fast and smooth.

AoC Leveling Guide - Tips for Leveling Enhancement

- Before you leave a settlement to start a leveling session, sell (or bank) everything you don't need to have the maximum space in your inventory for the loot and the quest items that are to come.

- Use foods, drinks and buffs to boost the character's stats to the limit, to be more effective during an XP session. Health and stamina regen will certainly reduce the deaths of your toon and implicitly, the XP gain will be higher.

- Renew the equipment at least every 10 levels, especially if the class you're playing is a melee one, like a Barbarian for example. In this case, make sure that at least the weapon is close to the toon's level, to inflict more damage.

- While leveling, attack is the best defense, so improve the offensive stats, like strength or wisdom, depending on the class type. Killing mobs faster, will grant faster XP.

- Do quests. In Age of Conan, the best way to XP, is questing, so focus on all the quests you can complete solo. I usually skip the ones that require group because they are time consuming and here, time is XP.

AoC Leveling Guide - Group Grinding

This might not be the main leveling method in the AoC Leveling Guide I've been using, but if you're a skilled player it works fine. The main requirements for this method are AoE abilities and, of course, a group. The less players in the group, the better. When I leveled my Priest of Mitra, I was duoing with my brother which has a Tempest of Set. Both classes have powerful AoE, heals and health regen spells. For an AoE leveling session, choose melee mobs, without any knockdown or crowd control abilities. Simply proceed by kill everything it moves, minimizing the wipes.

AoC Leveling Guide - Solo Questing

This is the main method in the AoC Leveling Guide I've been using to level fast my characters. The best part is that questing works for any class in the game. Since the guide explains all the quests step-by-step, anyone at anytime, will know precisely where to go, what tasks to perform there and how. Also, the quests are grouped in the best order, so you'll be able to complete 4-5 at the time, reducing travel and the grinding time, with maximum XP gain. To improve the information connected to each quest, suggestive maps and screenshots come to clarify each step, showing exactly the best path to follow, between two points of interest.

Having this AoC Leveling Guide at your side, no matter if you are pro or new, you will be able to reach the end game content in no time. I highly recommend it.
