Age of Conan Launches 'Re-evaluation Campaign,' Invites Old Players Back with Free Playtime Now that Age of Conan has celebrated its first birthday, developer Funcom has launched a "re-evaluation campaign" to promote the "slew of massive updates and improvements" that were made to the PC MMORPG across its first year on the market. As part of the campaign, inactive accounts can be reactivated, at no cost, from July 8 to July 22, with those returning to the world of Hyboria getting two weeks of free play. "The free trial campaign will temporarily be closed to ensure the best play environment for all returning players," Funcom noted. this game still blows a year after launch. great engine, but it lacks so many features that big guilds need, like enough space in the vaults, a more in-depth market system, more robust itemization, making trades like armorcraft actually worth learning, some kind of accounting system so you can tell who has contributed what. and now funcom is charging $20 for character transfers when servers are underpopulated. if you are marooned on a low pop server you should not have to pay to move.
It still looks crappy. I dont see no reason to play again and I have a 70 necro.
they came out with culture gear and culture weapon gear. Along with other craftable items

Yeah this game isn’t going to go anywhere. Its such a shame aswell but I dont think there is anything they can do to get people back. I got a 80 guardian and it was good fun doing some raiding like vistrix (this was before all the content patches)
Well im gonna join again and continue playin my conq and ranger, I love this game, i think its way better than any other EXCEPT for the pvp and raiding system. WoW destroys all in those 2 catagories. People say Wow PVP is easy u just click. But its the timing and ability to adapt to sudden changes that makes it difficult. this is all imo, i will always be cheering for AoC no matter what. The core of the game is the best, not to mention the RP is great for those who enjoy it.
