well the fact that aoc has just as much or even more diversity in armor skins as wow considering its brand new and wow is 8-9 years old now is amazing lol

WoW is 3 years old, roughtly. And all the 1500 sets are in the game, its just that ALOT of them are used only on NPC’s ATM, but I hope and think that will change.
I like how everyone is saying “They wanted it to be realistic” as an excuse for the crappy looking armor. Have you even seen the pict armor and weapons? They’re an obvious indicator that they will add more cool looking armor and weapons later. Just because it’s realistic doesn’t mean it must look like shit.
WoW is closer to 4 years old, you have to count the US release, not the EU.
kk i stand corrected about wow’s age but its almost ready for its 2nd expansion and aoc already has more diversity in armor skins a month after launch lol

out of 1500 armor set, i only seen no more than 100 sets so far after 5 months of playing
i swear i never seen any of those armor shown here on any player
this is really cool…. but please keep the armor realistic, unlike games like world of warcraft who have players dressed in golden shoulder pads and chest,legs etc. (thats for children) try and imitate elder scrolls oblivion, the armor there is not too flashy and still cool
imagine going into a city and seeing people with golden chest pieces/ epic head armor, that would really kill the game
Alot of people enjoy playing fantasy games dumbass. Its not about how realistic a game is. Age of conan isnt realistic. It has mages that cast spells and all that good shit. So therefore it isnt realistic either.
basically i want age of conan to reflect oblivion, so yes, i still want magic but realistic armor too. SO YOU CANT STFU.

the fucknig armor sucks, if they made better armor the game would actually be worth playing. They got the armor totally wrong according to the lore. Barbarians in fucking robes are u kidding me…

Barbarians use light armor, not cloth armor.
For example, my HOX use robes because its a mage and use cloth armor.
Have you even played AOC ?
Barbarians have awesome armor sets, just look at the barb pvp-set.

Well you can see when the camera zoom very close at 0:30 that the 2 male characters at left the 1 and the 2 behind the only diference is the hood
Age of conan is awsome because the armor is realistic not gay and magical like WoW imo
