Age of Conan or Lord of the Rings Online?
Hey there!
I was playing WoW a year now, but finally I got bored of it, as it is really limited. Anyway, I was wondering which of the 2 games mentioned above you think suits for me...I want the game to be threatening, difficult and have action and adventure. (but not too extreme in these fields ^^) I just enjoy playing something normal, but with the the science fiction element in it...I ve read so many reviews for both of games and still coudnt decide. Will you help me?

If you decide to go with AoC make sure you have a good graphics card.

I have played WoW for the last 2 1/2 years (still not bored, jumping in & out) and I HATED LoTR – just my opinion, but after playing WoW, I really didn’t like the UI or the character design (again, personal opinion only here).
My BF has gotten me into AoC & I do like it. There are still a bunch of bugs that the company needs to work out, but the game is fun. It takes some getting used to for me since WoW is really the only MMO I’ve played.
If you want the game to be difficult & have action, I’d say go Age of Conan – Herald of Xotli is a FUN class to play! You turn into a demon & do mad fire damage LOL. I have played a rogue in WoW (twice) and don’t like the assassin class in AoC, but having also played a Mage in WoW to 70, the Herald is so fun – it’s like being a fire mage with the melee of a warrior. The basic structure of AoC is similar to WoW, you have talent trees to build up and new abilities to learn with each level, but they’re automatic (for me right now anyway) and you don’t pay to train, which is nice.
Good luck with your decision!
Personally, I would choose Age of Conan. I played LOTRO a couple of times (once in beta and again before AoC came out) and while the game is beautiful, I could not get into it. Age of Conan is exciting, the graphics are gorgeous, and the combat is challenging.
Personally I find AoC to be way more fun then LOTRO, I played both and although LOTRO wasn’t a bad game I just enjoy AoC way more! It is so much fun!
